The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition seeking to issue a writ of mandamus, directing respondents 1 to 3 herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2023, in and by which, he sought to cancel the Sale Deeds dated 04.02.1997 and 05.02.1997, vide Document No.618 of 1997, registered in the name of the third party, in respect of the petitioner's property situated in Ottarpalayam Village, Palladam Taluk, Coimbatore District, comprised in S.No.310, measuring an extent of 36 cents, which had been allotted to the Depressed Class, viz., Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Since there was no response from the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed. Pg.Nos.2/5

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. On a perusal of the records, it is seen that since the subject property is Depressed Class Land, other than the depressed class people, others cannot have any right or title over the said property, either by way of any title, encroachment, possession or any other assignment. Therefore, respondents 1 to 3 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.11.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
