Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioners representation dated 07-11-2022 within stipulated time by issuing patta to the property situated in Survey No 549 and 595 situated at Janglapuram Village Athurkuppam (Po) Natrampalli Taluk Thirupathur District to the extent of 3.50 acres.

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioners representation dated 07-11-2022 within stipulated time by issuing patta to the property situated in Survey No 549 and 595 situated at Janglapuram Village Athurkuppam (Po) Natrampalli Taluk Thirupathur District to the extent of 3.50 acres.

The petitioner filed a representation dated 07.11.2022 for issuance of patta to his property situated at Survey No. 549 and 595 situated at Janglapuram Village Athurkuppam (Po) Natrampalli Taluk Thirupathur District to the extent of 3.50 acres. The said representation seems to have been given on 07.11.2022 at the time of public grievances day to the 1st respondent office, but a copy of the same has not been filed before this Court, except the acknowledgment issued by the Collector Office.

3. Heard Mrs.Akila Rajendran appearing for respondents. She submits that, let a copy of the said representation be forwarded to the 2nd respondent Tahsildar by the petitioner. On receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent would do the needful to dispose of the said representation dated 07.11.2022 within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

4. Considering the said submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order.

"That there shall be a direction to the petitioner to forward a copy of the representation dated 07.11.2022 to the 2nd respondent Tahsildar, who on receipt of the same, shall consider theon merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
