Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused Page No.1 of 4

the materials available on record.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she purchased the property bearing Plot No.152, measuring an extent of 187 square meters (2012 square feet) from one Tmt. Padmapriya and Sharmila on 20.10.2022. Seeking rightful ownership reflected in the mutation of Patta, the petitioner submitted an application (Ref No. 2022/0105/01/451710) to the second respondent on 05.11.2022. Unfortunately, there was no response to this application, prompting the petitioner to personally approach the second respondent for an update. It was informed that due to some pending litigations, Patta could not be issued.

The petitioner has again approached the second respondent citing similar issues and stating about the orders passed by this Court in a writ petitions filed by the adjacent land owners, wherein, this Court had directed the authorities concerned to issue Patta in their favour. The second respondent had refused the request made by the petitioner and informed that without any specific order of the Court, he/she cannot consider the request made by the petitioner. Hence, the present writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the authorities concerned. Page No.

Under such circumstances, it is sufficient to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's Online application dated 05.11.2022 for sub-sivision and Patta transfer, by issuing notice to the petitioner and also to the adjacent land owners of the four boundaries of the petitioner's property and conduct an enquiry in a manner known to law, if necessary, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
