ORDER
Petition seeking to Police Protection to lay road leading to their house, it was objected by few villagers, the petitioner seeking Police Protection.
2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents on instructions submits that the road proposed to be laid partly falls within the portion of the park area in the approved layout and therefore, there is objection to lay the road. The Collector has sought for report from the Tahsildar and once the issue is sorted out, necessary protection will be granted.
Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of holding that the police protection cannot be granted for laying a road in a place, which is under dispute. After settling the dispute, the petitioner can approach the respondents seeking police protection.
