Prayer : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandumus forbearing the respondents 1 and 2 in any manner interfering in the peaceful possession and lawfully running of the snooker, billiards, video game business in name and style of "Snook World" situated at Old No.21, New No.39, Second Floor, to an extent of approximately 3000 sq.ft., Mint Street, Chennai-1, without following due process of law.

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to restrain the respondents 1 and 2 in any manner from interfering with the peaceful possession and lawfully running his business in the name and style of "Snook World" situated at Old No.21, New No.39, Second Floor, Mint Street, Chennai-1, to an extent of approximately 3000 sq.ft., without following any due process of law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today i.e., 10.11.2021, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

3. However, Mr.V.Nanmaran, learned Government Advocate submits that he has received instructions from the respondent that at present, the petitioner is not running any business in the above mentioned premises since the petitioner has already vacated the premises and this may be the reason when this matter is called, none appeared for the petitioner before this Court to pursue the Writ Petition.

4. Therefore, keeping this matter pending, no useful purpose will be served. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
