ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble G.Jayachandran J.) On 14.08.2025, this Court granted conditional stay, directing the appellant to deposit a sum of Rs.23,40,000/- on or before 04.09.2025 to the credit of the appeal.
2. The present application is filed seeking extension of time, stating that due to administrative delay in the Government, the conditional order could not be complied within the specified time. It is now stated that a cheque for a sum of Rs.23,40,000/- dated 10.09.2025, drawn in favour of the Registrar (General), Madras High Court, has been made ready, and the petitioner/ appellant seeks permission to deposit the same in compliance with the conditional order dated 14.08.2025, by extending the time for compliance.
3. The Original cheque drawn in favour of the Registrar (General), Madras High Court is produced before this court along with the covering letter.
4. Considering the fact that the cheque for a sum of Rs.23,40,000/- has been made ready for deposit, the delay in complying with the conditional order is condoned.
5. The petitioner/ appellant is directed to deposit the cheque on or before 22.09.2025. Accordingly, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
6. Post the Arbitration Appeal for final hearing on
14.10.2025.
