PRAYER This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.03.2025 for regularizing the petitioner service from the date of his initial appointment dated 16.05.1975 and consequently direct the respondents to pay service and monetary benefits with all consequential benefits. ORDER

By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself. 2.This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.03.2025 for regularizing the petitioner service from the date of his initial appointment dated 16.05.1975 and consequently direct the respondents to pay service and monetary benefits with all consequential benefits. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special

Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the material available on record.

4.The case of the petitioner is that he was temporarily appointed on 16.05.1975 as Village Assistant in Vadamalaipalaiyam Village, Tirupur District. His service was regularised on 07.08.1981 and he was retired from service on 30.06.2012 on completion of more than 37 years of service. The petitioner has sent several representations and finally on 03.03.2025 to the respondents to count his initial services rendered on consolidated pay as qualifying service. Since no action has been forthcoming by the respondents, the petitioner was constrained to file the present Writ Petition.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders.

6. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents

submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

7. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders, on the petitioner's representation dated 03.03.2025, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner.

8. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
