This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent police not to harass the petitioner.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents/Police states that the third respondent, who is the wife of the petitioner has given a complaint against the petitioner and C.S.R.No.65 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent was pending against him. He further submitted that summons was duly served on the petitioner for enquiry. Instead of participating in the enquiry, he has approached this Court filing this petition as if Police is harassing. Further, there is no proof for harassment.

3. Taking note of the submissions, this Court directed the petitioner to appear before the Investigating Officer and co-operate with the enquiry. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 18.11.2024 Index : Yes/No Speaking Order : Yes/No ms 2/4
