ORDER

The petitioner/wife seeks transfer of FCOP No.236 of 2025 from the file of Family Court, Vellore to the file of Principal Family Court, Chennai.

2. The respondent/husband filed the above FCOP seeking divorce. According to the petitioner/wife, she is residing at Mylapore along with her son and aged parents and she finds it very difficult to undertake a long travel to Vellore to attend each and every Court hearings.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the respondent has no objection for transferring the said FCOP.

4. In view of the fact that the respondent has no objection for transferring of FCOP and also taking into consideration the convenience of the petitioner/wife, this Court is inclined to order the above transfer petition as prayed for.

5. Accordingly, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. FCOP No.236 of 2025 pending on the file of the Family Court, Vellore is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai. No costs.
