The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to conduct further investigation in Crime No.354 of 2023 and to include all the offences committed by the accused, as stated in the complaint.

The contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that further investigation is sought on the ground that despite the specific allegations in the complaint with regard to cheating, the First Information Report was registered only for the offence under Section 506(2) of IPC. Hence, the present petition has been filed. 3.

Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) fairly submitted that the allegations in the complaint would attract the offence of cheating and assured that the respondent will conduct further investigation and include all the offences made out against the accused. 4.

Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

In view of the above, the Investigating Officer is directed to conduct further investigation, include all other offences made out against the accused and file the final report in accordance with law. 6.

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
