The Writ Petition is filed for the relief of a Mandamus, directing the respondents to include the name of the petitioner in the seniority panel for promotion to the post of Deputy Collector for the year 2025 -2026 on the Petitioner's representation dated 08/08/2025.

2. Heard the learned counsels appearing on either sides and perused the records.

3. Though a larger prayer has been sought for in this writ 2/5

Petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice to direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 08.08.2025.

4. Accordingly, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, a direction is issued to the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 08.08.2025, within a period of 12 weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not made any observation with regard to the merits of the case.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
