Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4 th respondent herein to provide police protection to the petitioner herein to do borewell works in his property situated in Natham Survey No.390/1, Belukurichi Village, Sendamangalam Taluk, Namakkal District, measuring an extent of 1482 1/4 Sq.ft. based on representation of the petitioner dated 22.10.2024. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner to issue a direction to the 4 th respondent herein to provide police protection to the petitioner herein to do borewell works in his property situated in Natham Survey No.390/1, Belukurichi Village, Sendamangalam Taluk, Namakkal District, measuring an extent of 1482 1/4 Sq.ft. based on his representation dated 22.10.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police and perused the materials available on record.

3. Since no adverse order is being passed against the respondents 1 to 3, notice to the respondents 1 to 3 is dispensed with.

4. It is seen that there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and the adjacent owners. Therefore, considering the nature of dispute, this Court is not inclined to pass any positive order.

5. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law before the appropriate forum.

6. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
