ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to dispose of the application dated 06.02.2024 to include the properties in the official records of the Tamil Nadu Waqf Board in the Proforma No.570/TNV of the petitioner waqf.
2. Mr.G.Mohammed Aseef, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. In view of the consent expressed by the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that, the petitioner's waqf is the registered Waqf under Tamil Nadu Waqf Board vide proforma G.S.No.570/TNV. He is the owner/caretaker of the properties mentioned in the proforma. In order to include two properties in their proforma of Page No.2 of 6
the official records of the respondent, the petitioner has submitted an application dated 06.02.2024. Since no action has been taken by the respondent, the petitioner has filed this writ petition before this Court for appropriate orders.
4. Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application, dated 06.02.2024, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
5. In view of the limited request sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 06.02.2024, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved persons, if any.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
