O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents 2 and 3 to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's lands in S.No.95/2 to an extent of 2 Acres situated at Kookutamarutahali village, Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri district based on his application dated 23.07.2025 with help of the 4th respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the lands comprised in S.No.95/2 measuring to an extent of 2 Acres situated at Kookutamarutahali village, Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District. In order to survey the said lands, he submitted an application before the respondents. However, the respondents did not take any steps to survey the 2/5

aforesaid lands so far.

In view of the above, the 2nd respondent is directed to survey the petitioner's aforesaid land based on the title deed produced by the petitioner, after issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any, and to serve the survey report to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that, if the surveyor concerned is obstructed by third parties while surveying the subject land, the said surveyor can approach the jurisdictional police seeking police aid and on such request, the jurisdictional police shall provide adequate police protection to the surveyor.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
