ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to issue a Legal Heir Certificate in Application No.TN-720241228512 dated 28.12.2024, based on the petitioner's online e-sava application to the 1st respondent and for consequential orders.
2. Mr.R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General for Mrs.S.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that her father Ethiraj has two wives and the 1st legally wedded wife is the petitioner's mother, namely Dhanalakshmi. Out of the wedlock between the petitioner's father and mother, the petitioner and one Shobana were born. When the petitioner's Page No.2 of 6
mother was alive, her father got 2nd marriage with the petitioner's step aunt Nirmala, who is none other than the sibling of her mother. Out of their wedlock, one E.Yuvaraj was born and all of them lived together in a same house. On 30.10.1998, the petitioner's father died leaving behind the petitioner, her mother, her sister and the son born to the 2nd wife. Therefore, the petitioner has applied for legal heir certificate through online e-seva vide Application No.TN-720241228512 dated 28.12.2024 before the 1st respondent. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition before this Court for appropriate orders.

Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice, if this Court, issues a direction to the 1st respondent to issue legal heir certificate to the petitioner, based on her online e-save application, dated 28.12.2024, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 28.12.2024 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved persons, if any.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
