ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents st and 2 nd to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and her family members on the basis of the written representation made by the petitioner on 19.09.2024.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner had earlier given a complaint before the respondent police on 15.05.2024 against the private respondents herein and based on her complaint, the respondent police also issued summons for appearance of the petitioner on 30.05.2024 to enquire regarding her complaint, whereas, the petitioner never turned up and once again she has given a representation to the respondent police on 19.09.2024 seeking police protection. 2/6
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police and perused the materials available on record.
4. Since no adverse order is being passed against the respondents 3 to 5, notice to the respondents 3 to 5 is dispensed with.

It is seen that on earlier occasion also, the petitioner has made a complaint to the respondent police, however, when the summon was taken on the petition to appear for enquiry, she did not responded for the same. Once again she has sent a representation to the respondent police seeking police protection. Sending complaint after complaint without even responding to the summons of the respondent police and thereafter approaching the Court seeking directions, shows that the petitioner has not approached with clean hands. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.
6. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the respondent police in person to make a request for police protection and shall also co-operate to 3/6
the respondent police for enquiry. In case the respondent police finds that police protection is required to the petitioner, they can pass orders accordingly.
7. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
