ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry for the complaint given by unknown person.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the since the Panchayath Officials tried to take the petitioner's residential place under the guise of construction of Veterinary Hospital, she filed WP.No.8198 of 2019 against the District Collector and other Revenue Officials in which an order of Status Quo was passed. He further submitted that now the the respondent police is frequently calling upon the petitioner under the guise of enquiry and causing harassment.

4. Per Contra, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that one Manimaran who is the Assistant Director of Veterinary Sciences has lodged a complaint and only for enquiry https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

purpose in that complaint, the petitioner was called, but she was not subjected to any harassment.

5. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the aforesaid complaint with the said complainant and if the said enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register FIR and proceed further in accordance with law and instead of that he should not harass the petitioner unnecessarily. .

6. With the aforesaid directions, this petition is disposed of .
