ORDER
(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) Anjali Devi, wife of Late Aadhiseshan, has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing
respondents 1 to 4 to remove the encroachments made in Odai Poramboke comprised in Survey No.144, situated at Mamandur Village, Maduranthagam Taluk, Chenglepet District and to retrieve the same from the encroachers and further to maintain the "Odai" in terms of the original Village A-Register.
2. In support of the prayer made in the writ petition, the petitioner has enclosed a copy of the 'A' Register, which shows that the land in Survey No.144, situated at Mamandur Village, Maduranthagam Taluk, Chenglepet District, is classified as "Odai".
3. Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 4, prayed for six weeks' time to remove the encroachments over the land in question, after notice to all concerned and in accordance with law.
4. In view of the aforesaid submission made by learned State Government Pleader, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent authorities to remove the encroachments over the land in question within six weeks' from the date of receipt of a copy of this
