Mr.J.C.Durairaj, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the Tahsildar, Aminthakarai, Chennai - 600 030, arrayed as sole respondent Pg.No.1/4

and is armed with instructions to enable final disposal of this matter, even at the stage of admission.

2. He would convey no objection to the prayer of the petitioner, which is for a mandamus simplicitor for consideration of his application dated 26.10.2023 for conduct of enquiry and issuance of certificate in the nature of 'person as same' and for consequential action.

3. Evidently, since several facts would have to be marshalled and assimilated in disposing the petitioner's representation and consideration of the prayer, no positive direction can be issued.

4. However, seeing as the pendency of the petitioner's application is admitted, mandamus is issued to the sole respondent to call upon the petitioner, hear him and consider evidences, if any, filed in support of his submission, and pass orders on the application of the petitioner dated 26.10.2023 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order.
