This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to register the complaint dated 19.10.2022 lodged before the Inspector of Police, Chetpet Police Station, Thiruvannamalai District and Superintendent of Police Thiruvannamalai District.

2. When the matter is taken up today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that FIR in this case was already registered in Crime No.28 of 2023 for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 441, 324, 506(1) of IPC. Hence nothing survives in this petition.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as not necessary.
