O R D E R

The petitioner is one of the hereditary trustees of A/m. Mariamman and Karpuraayasamy temple, Linganoor, Coimbatore District. There are six members in the board of trustees. Unfortunately , there is no chairman and the Chairman has to be elected by conducting election, which has to be supervised by the HR & CE Department. Consequently, the petitioner along with other members had given representation on 12.10.2019, seeking election to be conducted for the post of chairman. Since there

was no reply or response for the representation, the petitioner has filed this present writ petition seeking direction to consider the representation dated 12.10.2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader for HR & CE department.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the said representation has to be disposed of by the 2nd respondent namely the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE Department, Coimbatore within a stipulated time.

4. Hence, the 2nd respondent namely the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE Department, Coimbatore is directed to dispose of the representation given by the petitioner dated 12.10.2019, after taking note of all facts including necessarily issuing notice to the petitioner and any other take holders thereafter giving them opportunity to put forth their views, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. .

5. With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
