The petitioner is A4 in S.C.No.246 of 2017, now pending before the XIX Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai, seeks bail. Originally, Crime No.2007 of 2014 had been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 450, 341, 302, 380 r/w 34 of IPC. The petitioner had been taken into custody on 29.08.2023. 2.The petitioner had taken a decision not to appear before the Court and a non-bailable warrant had been issued on 24.03.2022 and the same had been executed on 29.08.2023.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner was innocent of the offences and he would abide by any condition imposed by this Court.

4.In the petition seeking bail, the petitioner had given his address as No.11, Kolathumedu, 7th Street, Zamin Pallavaram, Chennai600 043. However, the Tahsildar, Pallavaram, had stated that at that

particular address, Kadughu S/o. Sathyamoorthy/the present petitioner is not residing in that particular address. Thus, it is seen that the petitioner has come to the Court with a false address.

5.Taking all these factors into consideration, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
