The petitioner herein was arrested on 31.07.2025 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 8(c) r/w 22(b) of NDPS Act in Crime No.525 of 2025 on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal 1/4

possession of 10 grams of Methamphetamine. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the quantity involved is an intermediate quantity and not a commercial quantity. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that there are 4 previous cases pending against the petitioner namely, one case is under 302 IPC and one case is under 307 IPC and two other cases are under 397 IPC. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner. 5.Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner and also considering the fact that there are 4 previous cases pending against the petitioner and was arrested only on 31.07.2025, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
