ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to regularize the service of the petitioner from his initial date of appointment along with all monetary and service benefits.

2.The petitioner was appointed as a Junior Grade Teacher on consolidated pay in the year 2005 which took effect from 02.06.2003, as Tamil Pandit. A decision was taken by the Government in the year 2003 wherein the Junior Grade Teacher post was downgraded to the Post of Junior Grade Secondary Grade Teacher and Junior Grade BT Assistant and PG Assistant. This Government Order became a subject matter of challenge and pursuant to the judgment of the Hon'ble Division Bench, G.O.Ms.No.336 School Education (M1) Department, dated 30.12.2009 was passed. According to the petitioner, he is also entitled for the benefits under the said Government Order and that he is also covered by the judgment of this Court. representation to the respondents requesting to regularize his services from the initial date of appointment till 01.06.2006. Since, the representation was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed seeking for appropriate directions. 3.Heard Mr.B.Sundar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mrs.V.Annalakshmi, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for by the petitioner, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation to be made by the petitioner in this regard and pass appropriate orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the representation. The petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the 2nd respondent making his claim along with all supporting orders passed by this Court and the Government orders, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No Costs.
