Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation dated 22.10.2019 made by the petitioner for the renewal of the lease in the name of the petitioner in respect to the land to an extent of 80 square feet in which the premises bearing Door No. 1 Town Hall Road Madurai 625 001 situated and belonging to Arul Mighu Koodalalagar Temple and followed by the reminder dated 12.11.2019 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law and the procedure within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honourable Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation dated 22.10.2019 made by the petitioner for the renewal of the lease in the name of the petitioner in respect to the land to an extent of 80 square feet in which the premises bearing Door No. 1, Town Hall Road, Madurai 625 001 situated and belonging to Arul Mighu Koodalalagar Temple and followed by the reminder dated 12.11.2019 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law and the procedure within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honourable Court.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the present petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. No costs. 01.10.2024
