This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner by an order dated 05.11.2024 in Crl.O.P.No.27457 of 2024 to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties, out of which, one must be of his father or mother each for a like sum.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was arrested and later, granted bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.27457 of 2024 on 05.11.2024 with a condition to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties, out of which, one must be his father or mother, however, since the parents of the petitioner are also accused in this case, the petitioner was unable to execute the sureties as imposed by this Court. Hence, he seeks to modify the condition. He further submitted that inadvertently, in his petition, he had mentioned the offence as 6(1) of POCSO Act instead of 6 of POCSO Act, thereby, he also seeks to amend the same.

3. Considering the above submission, this court is inclined to modify the condition in paragraph 7 of the order dated 05.11.2024. Thereby, the paragraph 7 shall be read as follows:

"7. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the Additional Mahila Court, Kallakurichi and on further conditions that:"

4. Further, the offence 6(1) of POCSO Act shall be read as 6 of POCSO Act in the order dated 05.11.2024. The other conditions shall remain intact.
