..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents 9 to 11 to delete the corrections carried out on 29.07.2004 in the Town Survey Register of Town Survey No.3, Ward B, Block 24, Zone III of Chennai Corporation of Madhavaram Village, Madhavaram Taluk, Thiruvallur District (now Chennai District) with respect to the lands belonging to the petitioner so as to restore the original entries in the survey number column as S.No.992/1A, in the extent column as 0.3876 sq.meter. and in the name column as Pandian i.e. the petitioner's husband and to consequentially restore the petitioner's possession of S.No.992/1A Town Survey No.3, Ward B, Block 24, Zone III of Chennai Corporation of Madhavaram Village, Madhavaram Taluk, Thiruvallur District
by removing the fencing.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 9 to 11 to delete the corrections carried out on 29.07.2004 in the Town Survey Register of Town Survey No.3, Ward B, Block 24, Zone III of Chennai Corporation of Madhavaram Village, Madhavaram Taluk, Thiruvallur District (now Chennai District) with respect to the lands belonging to the petitioner so as to restore the original entries in the survey number column as S.No.992/1A, in the extent column as 0.3876 sq.meter. and in the name column as Pandian i.e. the petitioner's husband and to consequentially restore the petitioner's possession of S.No.992/1A Town Survey No.3, Ward B, Block 24, Zone III of Chennai Corporation of Madhavaram Village, Madhavaram Taluk, Thiruvallur District by removing the fencing.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the property at Survey No.992/1A, Town Survey No.3, Block 24, Madhavaram Village, Madhavaram Taluk, Thiruvallur District. This
being so, the respondents' officials started to disturb the petitioner's possession by alleging that the said land belongs to Aavin and also made an entry in the Town Survey Register in the name of Dairy Department on 29.07.2004. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has filed this writ petition to delete the corrections carried out on 29.07.2004 in the Town Survey Register.

Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1, 9 to 11 would submit that the respondents have not received any representation regarding the deletion of illegal entries in the Town Survey Register for the petitioner's property. In the event, the petitioner makes any representation, the same will be considered by following the due process of law.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. Considering the fair submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1, 9 to 11, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, issues the following directions:
(i) The petitioner is directed to give a representation before the 10th respondent regarding corrections carried out in the Town Survey Register;
(ii) On such receipt, the 10th respondent is directed to consider the same, after issuing due notice and opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved parties, if any, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
