The petitioner, wife of the detenu, namely Rajesh, aged about 36 years, S/o. Murugesan, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 27.10.2023 slapped on her husband, branding him as "GOONDA" as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the husband of the petitioner herein dated 27.10.2023 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.6845, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIII) Department, dated 07.12.2023 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
