This petition is filed under Section 378(4) Cr.P.C, to grant special leave to file an appeal against the judgment dated 17.06.2022 in S.C.No.96 of 2019 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases under POCSO Act, Chennai.

2. Mr. S. Sugendran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor contended that though the victim had deposed that she was sexually harassed by the accused, the trial court had acquitted the accused on irrelevant factors. He therefore, prayed for granting special leave to file the above appeal.

3. The victim in the instant case is aged about 14 years and she as well as her mother were examined as P.W.1 and P.W.4.
