PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 407 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to withdraw the petition filed by the respondent in M.C.No.8 of 2018 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kallakurichi and transfer the same to Judicial Magistrate, Thittakudi.

This petition has been filed to withdraw the petition filed by the respondent in M.C.No.8 of 2018 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kallakurichi and transfer the same to Judicial Magistrate, Thittakudi.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that whenever the petitioner is going to attend the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kallakurichi in M.C.No.8 of 2018 relatives of the respondent are threatening to settle the matter and hence he requests to transfer the M.C.No.8 of 2018 to Judicial Magistrate, Thittakudi.
3. The petitioner has not produced any materials to show that the relatives of the respondent are threatening him to settle the matter. Hence this Court does not find any merit in this petition.

4. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
