ORDER

Petition for appointing guardian of a minor boy to settle his 1/10th share in the suit schedule property in favour of his Aunty is liable to be dismissed, since this petition clearly indicates that the settlement is to be done out of love and affection without any consideration.

2. If the said love and affection continues even after the minor boy attains majority, such settlement can be done, but not before he attains majority. If such settlement without consideration of relinquishing the right of a minor is permitted, the interest of the minor boy will be badly affected. This Court finds no merit in this petition, hence this petition is dismissed at the admission stage itself.
