For securing a job in the Income Tax Department, the defacto complainant has given a sum of Rs.20/- Lakhs to the petitioners herein and 1/6

having realized that the defacto complainant have been cheated by the petitioners, an FIR dated 31.07.2024 in Crime No.19 of 2024 been registered for the offence under Section 420 IPC. The petitioners herein arrested on 24.06.2025.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners state that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioners.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police, states that on completion of investigation, a final report also filed. He also states that there are three previous cases of similar nature are registered against these petitioners. Hence, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioners.

4.Considering the nature of crime and the material collected by the respondent police, as well as the antecedent of these petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
