Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 10.8.2023 submitted by the petitioner to divide the existing Nallur Revenue Village into two revenue Villages namely Nallur and Kondaiyankuppam as per the recommendation of the RDO, Cheyyar, 4th respondent bearing Na.Ka.A2/5251/2017 dated 11.3.2022 by allotting equal share to both the villages over the big lake along with fishing lease right and tree cutting lease right.

ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.V.R.Appaswamee, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that Nallur Revenue Village is not bifurcated.

3. This Court cannot issue direction with regard to bifurcation of the revenue village. It is within the domain of the executive.

4. A representation has been given by the petitioner on 10.8.2023. The respondent authorities may consider the said representation of the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law, preferably within six months from today.

5. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
