O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to conduct investigation in Crime No.129 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police and file a final report in the said case before the appropriate court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Based on the petitioner's complaint, case was registered in Crime No.129 of 2023 on 04.04.2023 itself. Since the respondent police has not completed the investigation till now, the petitioner is constrained to file the above criminal original petition.

4. The respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation and file a charge sheet with regard to case in Crime No.129

of 2023, before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate, within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Superintendent of Police, Namakkal District is directed monitor the investigation and direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation and to file a charge sheet within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

5. With the abovesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
