O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to quash the FIR registered in Crime No.100 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent police, as illegal.

2. Heard Mr.M.Muruganantham, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police. None appeared on behalf of the second respondent.

3. Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police on instructions would submit that in respect https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to the petition mentioned Crime Number, i.e. Crime No.100 of 2018, the first respondent police had completed the investigation and filed a Final Report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pochampally and the same was taken on file in P.R.C.No.19 of 2020. The said submission is recorded.

4. Therefore, after filing of the Final Report, it is not necessary to decide the validity of the FIR. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed, after granting liberty to the petitioners for filing petition to quash the charge sheet. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
