ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.08.2023.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 31.08.2023 to release the payment due to him to the tune of Rs.12,69,822/- in respect of Agreement No.SE/MDU/TWAD/No.14/2018-2019dated 14.12.2018 together with interest at the rate of 6% per annum. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents, as on date. Hence, this petition.

3. In reply, learned standing counsel appearing for the first respondent would submit that the respondents have already initiated the process to release the amount and sought four weeks time to comply the same.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the entire materials available on record.

5. In view of the above submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to release the payment due to the petitioner to the tune of Rs.12,69,822/- along with 6% per interest per annum, as prayed in this writ petition, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
