ORDER

This Petition has been filed seeking to direct the first respondent to take necessary steps against the 3rd respondent as per the directions of Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board dated 12.02.2014, 13.02.2014 and 07.09.2016.

2. The main grievance of the writ petitioner is that despite the letter issued by the Pollution Control Board on 12.02.2014, 13.02.2014 and 07.09.2016 seeking to close the welding shop of the third respondent, no action has been taken by the respondents officials.

3. According to him, the building and the occupation by the third respondent is at the public street and is causing nuisance to the public. As the letters are of the year 2014 - 2016, this Court is of the view that the petitioner may make a fresh representation to the Corporation/respondents officials within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order and the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate order(s) on merits after providing opportunities of hearing to the petitioner as well as the third respondent 2/4

within a period of one month thereafter.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
