The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 04.10.2023 registered for the offences under Sections 279, 304(ii) of IPC r/w 134(a), 134(b), 187 and 185 of Motor Vehicles Act, in Crime No.619 of 2023, seeks bail.

2. It is stated that the petitioner, under the influence of alcohol had driven a container lorry bearing registration No.TN 20 BR 3556 in the opposite side of the road and dashed against the barricades of the Toll Plaza and also caused death to one person.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner had lost the control of the vehicle.

4.It is only obvious since he was under the influence of alcohol. He should not have driven the vehicle on the opposite side. 5.At this stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
