Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to pass orders, directions, writs in particular a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 16.08.2016 and the subsequent representation submitted on 06.06.2017 and to direct the Official Respondents to take appropriate legal action against the fifth respondent for obtaining renewal of School Committee by producing bogus records to the Department and for further serious misconduct committed and to take over the Management of the school by State Government.

The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as School Committee member in Kalaimagal Kalvi Nilayam, which was established during the pre-independence period in Panapalayam Village, Kodumudi Union, Erode District. In the year 2011 the fifth respondent was selected as Secretary of the School Committee. Thereafter, he started to indulge in nefarious activities of demanding money from the Headmaster working in the school and also harassed him, due to which the petitioner made representation to the first respondent. Till date the representation has not been considered. Challenging the same the present writ petition is filed.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice to issue directions to the respondents 1 to 4 to dispose of the representation dated 06.06.2017 and pass orders.

3. Mr.S.R.Rajagopal, learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents conceded to the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the case and considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to issue directions to the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation dated 06.06.2017 submitted by the petitioner and pass orders within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
