Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records from the respondent pertaining to the impugned proceedings Letter.1486/Tha.P.2/2017 dated 23.10.2017 issued by the respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner.

ORDER
The writ petition has been filed to quash the order dated 23.10.2017 of the respondent and to direct the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner.

It is seen that the petitioner made representation to the respondent to grant permission to conduct public meeting on 24.10.2017, which was rejected on 23.10.2017 itself. Now, the date on which the public meeting proposed to be conducted is already over as such the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
