The present writ petition is filed seeking a mandamus to the respondent to furnish the information sought by the petitioner vide her application dated 05.07.2025.

2. The petitioner had sought certain information from the respondent. It was not furnished. As per the Right to Information Act, if the information is not furnished within a period of 30 days, the remedy for the person aggrieved, is to file an appeal before the appellate authority. Therefore, the writ petition does not lie. Granting liberty to the writ petitioner to file an appeal, the writ petition is dismissed.
