... Respondents Prayer:- Contempt petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, pleased to punish the respondents for having committed contempt by wilful disobedience of the order this Court made in W.P.No.35591 of 2023 dated 03.01.2024.

ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for noncompliance of the order dated 03.01.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.No.35591 of 2023, wherein the respondents/Corporation was directed to pay 6% interest per annum for the belated payments of retirement benefits to the petitioners, and to settle the unpaid terminal benefits, if any, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order. 2.

The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondents/Corporation have duly complied with the order and settled all the dues payable to the writ petitioners, including the petitioner herein. In support of the same, he has filed a "Memo of Compliance" dated 12.11.2025, along with photocopies of cheques issued to the writ petitioners, including the petitioner herein, before this Court. The said memo dated 12.11.2025 is taken on record.

In view of the above, no contempt is made out against the respondents.

Recording the above submissions and the "Memo of Compliance" dated 12.11.2025, the Contempt Petition stands closed. 12.11.2025 klt
