Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records connected with the impugned order of the 1st respondent bearing Letter No.21336/C1/ 2012-7 dated 10.11.2014 and quash the same and direct the 2nd respondent to revise and refix the pension and grant retirement benefits by including the Six years and Six months service rendered in Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Polytechnic College Coimbatore. O R D E R

Challenging the rejection order of the 1st respondent to count the petitioner's past service rendered in Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Polytechnic College, as qualifying service for the purpose of pension and retirement benefits, this writ petition is filed. The writ petitioner also seeks for a direction to the 2nd respondent to revise and refix the pension and grant retirement benefits.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner died in the year 2022 and till today, the petitioner's counsel has not been able to contact the legal heirs of the petitioner to take steps to bring them on record.

3. In view of the fact that the petitioner died in the year 2022 and inspite of lapse of two years, the petitioner's counsel has not been able to take steps to bring on record the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner. I find that no purpose will be served in keeping this writ petition pending. 2/4

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. Hence there shall be no order as to costs.
