This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the second respondent/Police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.1 of 2024 and file the final report within a stipulated period of time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents/Police, on instructions, submitted that, since the complaint pertains to cyber crime, invisible materials have to be gathered by way of investigation and hence, it takes time to file the final report.

3. In view of the above submission, this Court cannot fix a stipulated time for filing final report. However, the respondents/Police are directed to expedite the investigation and file the final report as expeditiously as possible, before the competent Court. 27.11.2024 Index : Yes/No Speaking Order : Yes/No 2/4
