ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to fix and collect monthly rent for the ground which is occupied by the petitioner for carrying on business of Aavin Milk Parlour.

2. Ms.S.Sheela, learned counsel, would submit that she has already given entire bundle to the party for change of vakalat. However, even today, the petitioner has not chosen to engage a new counsel to represent on her behalf. At the time of calling this matter, either the petitioner in person or any counsel on her behalf appeared today. 2/4

3. On perusal of the records, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the second respondent that the property in question is not owned by the second respondent and it is a Wakf property. Therefore, the second respondent cannot fix and collect rent from the petitioner for occupation of the said property. Therefore, direction sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as devoid of any merit. No Costs.
