Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to take appropriate action to demolish the building belongs to Arulmigu Arulananda Eswara Temple in KA.SA.No.844/5 situated at Patel Street, Palladam Village and Taluk, Tiruppur District and renovate the same by considering the petitioner representation dated 30.10.2023 in accordance with law.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.S.Kumaresan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Archaeological Department has issued a letter to the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department for demolition and subsequent renovation of the temple.

3. In that case, the grievance of the petitioner, now, would not subsist. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
