In the captioned writ petition, Mr.L.Chandrakumar, learned counsel on record for writ petitioner and Mr.S.Ravikumar, learned Special Government Pleader who accepted notice on behalf of both respondents are before this Court.

2. Owing to the narrow compass on which the matter turns, with the consent of learned counsel on both sides, main writ petition was taken up.

3. Adverting to paragraph No.4 of the writ affidavit, learned counsel on record for writ petitioner submits, on instructions, that an earlier writ petition being W.P.No.8359 of 2021 filed by the writ petitioner was since dismissed as withdrawn.

4. On verifying the official website of this Court, it is seen that W.P.No.8359 of 2021 along with WMP thereat have been dismissed as withdrawn in and by an order dated 25.02.2022 made by Hon'ble Page Nos.2/6

predecessor Judge. A scanned reproduction of the same is as follows: Page Nos.3/6

Page Nos.4/6

5. In the above backdrop, learned State counsel, on instructions, submits that the present agreement dated 18.02.2022 between the parties will be operating till February 2023 and with regard to further course of action, the first respondent intends to issue a 'Notice Inviting Tender' ['NIT'] or in other words, the first respondent intends to float a tender. It is also submitted by the learned State counsel, on instructions, that it is open to the writ petitioner to participate in the tender.

6. Learned counsel on record for writ petitioner very fairly submits that this is good enough to give a closure to the matter.

7. In the light of the narrative thus far, captioned Writ Petition is disposed of as closed recording the stated position of both sides. There shall be no order as to costs.
