Petitions praying that in these circumstances stated therein and in the respective affidavits filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to stay the award dated 29.03.2012 on the file of Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Additional Sub Court, Thiruvannamalai made

(3) in M.C.O.P.No.515 of 2008 [ in C.M.P.No.1780 of 2017 IN CMA.260/2017 ];

(i) in M.C.O.P.No.516 of 2008 [ in C.M.P.No.1781 of 2017 IN CMA.261/2017 ];

(i) in M.C.O.P.No.517 of 2008 [ in C.M.P.No.1782 of 2017 IN CMA.262/2017 ];

pending in C.M.A.Nos.258 to 262 of 2017 respectively.

Order : These petitions coming on for orders upon perusing the petitions and the respective affidavits filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.C.S.K.SATHISH, Advocate for the petitioner in all the petitions, the court made the following order:- COMMON

ORDER

In these miscellaneous petitions, on 15.02.2017, an order of interim stay was granted subject to condition that the appellant/Transport Corporation deposits the entire award amount, along with proportionate interest and costs, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order. While passing such order, it was specifically mentioned therein that in the event of failure on the part of the petitioner to deposit the said amount within the specified period, the interim stay granted would stand automatically vacated without any further reference to this Court.

2.Today, when these cases were taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant was unable to state whether the aforesaid conditional order has been complied with by the appellant/Transport Corporation or not.

3.In view of the above, these petitions stand closed, by virtue of the specific clause in the order dated 15.02.2017 as stated in the paragraph No.1 of this order.
