ORDER

By consent of the either parties, the writ petition is disposed at the admission stage itself.

2. This petition has been filed seeking to issue a direction to the 1 st respondent-bank to de-freeze the petitioner's savings bank account bearing Account No. 10039113788 maintained with the 1st respondent bank and allow the petitioner to operate the same as usual by considering the representation dated 15.07.2025.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is maintaining a savings account with the branch of the first respondent and without any reason, the account of te petitioner was freezed. Hence, she made several representation to the 1 st respondent on 15.07.2025 to de-freeze the bank account of the petitioner. However, no action was taken till date and hence, the present writ petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the 1 st respondent and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 2 nd respondent and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2025 within a period of four weeks weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
