(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.P.H.Arvind Pandian, learned Senior Counsel appearing for Mr.Jidesh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader assisted by Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent and Mr.AR.L.Sundaresan, learned Additional Solicitor General assisted by Mr.C.Kulandaivel, learned counsel for the second respondent.
2. Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the notification has lived its life. The period of the notification has come to an end. If a fresh notification is issued, the petitioners may be given the liberty to assail the same in accordance with law.
3. In view of that, the writ petition is disposed of. If a fresh notification is issued, the petitioners are at liberty to assail it in accordance with law. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.Nos.520, 521 & 522 of 2023.
